Every year since 2001, boys and girls ages 7 to 17 years old living in and outside the UAE travel to Dubai to attend our Dubai Winter Holidays Scholae™ and Camp during their school’s respective holidays either on a day-only or full-boarding basis. This being their opportunity to experience our world renowned Scholae™ educational model, voted as the school model of the future! Our unique holiday program allows students to enjoy a productive and joyful school holiday in unique boarding settings with a combination of daily morning classes or workshops, afternoon sporting activities, evening trips, and weekend excursions! Boarding Facilities

Our boarding house is a student residence that meets the highest standards of safety and security, made up twin-sharing rooms (two separate beds). Every room comes with its own bathroom, shower, and fridge. Students have access to our in-house laundromat where they learn to do their own washing and ironing! Boarding students are also provided with three (healthy) meals daily served in fully equipped restaurants that are on campus too. The remainder of the vast campus includes gaming rooms, kitchen lounges, social suites, and a sophisticated sports and fitness center that students use for their sporting, cultural and recreational activities. Students enjoy trips and excursions on weekends too. At the boarding house, students are supervised by life coaches referred to as Third Parents™. The use of this term is not casual; rather these specialist mentors become akin to parents to their students, catering to their day-to-day needs, following-up on their academic and social progress.

 

Morning Workshops and Classes

Classes and workshops are held in the mornings, Sunday through Thursday. Students may choose from a variety of subjects including Foundation English, Booster English, Life Skills and Leadership, or World Languages with courses designed to solidify and strengthen their knowledge structure or provide them with a head-start on new educational concepts. Alternatively, students may opt for lighter courses in Music, Art, and Physical Education that enhance their general knowledge and expand their interests. All our workshops are conducted by teams of teachers that specialize in British, American, and international curricula. Recreational Activities, Competitive Leagues, and Trips

During the afternoon, the camp offers students a vibrant program that includes poetry fairs, art shows, science exhibitions, games, competitive league sports (basketball, swimming, horse-riding etc), painting and artwork, music and singing, computer and technology clubs and much more. During the evenings, visits are organized to leisure and cultural locations around Dubai with weekend trips to other parts of the United Arab Emirates.

 

Visit Visa facilities for International Students

The camp offers students residing outside the United Arab Emirates the opportunity to visit Dubai to attend the program by facilitating their entry into the United Arab Emirates and arranging visit visas for the duration of their enrollment period.

 

Age Groups

Enrollment in the camp is open to boys and girls of the ages of 7 to 17 years. Students will be divided into their respective age groups, each having its individually designed program.

 

Dates & Enrollment Period

The camp will run during school holidays from October to January of every academic year. Since different countries have different holiday breaks, we have scheduled different date-terms to cater to the wide range of students coming in from different parts of the world. Furthermore, parents may also choose their own start and end dates if the term dates appearing below do not match the holiday dates at their child’s school:

Term A: Duration of 1 week - From October 12th, 2024 (arrival) to October 18th, 2024 (departure).

Term B: Duration of 1 week - From October 19th, 2024 (arrival) to October 25th, 2024 (departure).

Term C: Duration of 1 week- From October 26th, 2024 (arrival) to November 1st, 2024 (departure).

Term D: Duration of 1 week- From November 2nd, 2024 (arrival) to November 8th, 2024 (departure).

Term E: Duration of 1 week- From November 9th, 2024 (arrival) to November 15th, 2024 (departure).

Term F: Duration of 1 week- From November 23rd, 2024 (arrival) to November 29th, 2024 (departure).

Term G: Duration of 1 week- From December 14th, 2024 (arrival) to December 20th, 2024 (departure).

Term H: Duration of 1 week - From December 21st, 2024 (arrival) to December 27th, 2024 (departure).

Term I: Duration of 1 week - From December 28th, 2024 (arrival) to January 3rd, 2025 (departure).

Term J: Duration of 1 week - From January 4th, 2025 (arrival) to January 10th, 2025 (departure).

The course continues without break (no departure) for those students who choose to attend two or more consecutive terms. Each term (one week) offers different activities and trips so that there is no repetition for students attending multiple terms.

Fees

Full boarding fees are as follows:

AED4,950/- per term (1 Week) plus VAT

Includes schooling fees, twin-sharing accommodation, 3 meals per day, weekday activities and trips, weekend excursions, laundry, administrative expenses etc.

Pocket Money Deposit(optional)

Deductible towards pocket money issued to student

Parents Decide

 

Discounts

- Sibling/Group Discounts: Second student from the same family benefits from 5% discount on the fees. Third and fourth students from the same family benefit from 10% discount on fees each. Fifth or more members of the same family benefit from 15% discount on fees.

Multiple Terms Discount: Book 2 one-week terms and receive 5% discount. Book 3 or more one-week terms and receive 10% discount on each session.

The following are required for admission to the fall/winter camp:

a) A completed application form 

b) A copy of student's passport
