There is a lot more to knowledge and human development than is currently being delivered by schools! Most families that can afford it, will employ the services of a seasoned and experienced educator to mentor and supervise their children’s academic, social, and professional development in and outside school. In 2001, through our EduWarden™ program, we were the first educational organization in the region to institutionalize such service and make it available to local and expatriate families in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Over the past two decades this unique program has provided support for thousands of children and teens studying at all the different international schools across Dubai.

EduWarden™(formerly Third Parent™)

Once registered in the program, each student is appointed one of our EduWardens™ who, through weekly school and home visits, works with their student to improve their academic attainment, study and revision habits, learning techniques, organization, efficiency, classroom preparation, family relationships, friendships, physical and mental fitness, nutrition and health, communication skills, leadership abilities, hobbies and talents, as well as their career and professional outlook. EduWardens™ work with their students to regulate use of technology such as mobile phone and tablets, gaming and computer consoles, online presence and social media involvement etc.

School Visits

Parents want to be able to communicate more regularly with their child’s school and teachers. Schools and teachers too want parents to become more involved in their child’s schooling. Most international schools have invested in technology that has improved communication with parents to a certain extent. However, sending a message across an app or updating a web portal is not enough in the context of human development! Understanding what is going on with a child at school requires personal attention and the human touch, something that unfortunately, schools today do not have the time or resources for. EduWardens™ are authorized by their student’s parents to communicate with the school on their behalf and to visit the school when necessary to follow up on their child’s progress. EduWardens™ monitor school-home communications and ensure that students and parents react to them appropriately.

Home Visits

An EduWarden™ is not your typical teacher! He or she are first and foremost life mentors and lifestyle advisors. Beyond their role in monitoring and improving academic attainment and school performance, their primary task is to provide a role model that their students can follow. EduWardens™ lead their students by example, encouraging to become better at everything they do and preparing them for the realities of the future. Home visits allow EduWardens™ time to advise their students about their day-to-day plans as well as their plans for the future.

Social and Sporting Activities

Throughout the year, we organize exclusive weekend and school holiday recreational, sporting, and cultural activities, excursions and camps designed to provide students with an alternative social platform that exposes them to students from other schools. This is important as it allows students to expand their support network and make new friends. While these activities are totally optional students, are always encouraged to participate, try new things, and expand their horizon.

Age Groups

Enrollment is open to boys and girls studying at international schools in Dubai as follows: American Schools (Grade 1 - 12), British Schools (Year 2-13) and International Baccalaureate Schools (IB) and other curricula (Grade 1/Year 2-Grade 12/Year 13).
